The Year-End Field Experience

Close the year together Make room for what comes next

A one-day experience that helps your team see what this year has asked of them, address what keeps getting in the way, and leave with clear priorities and working agreements for the year ahead.

A team may have met its goals through extraordinary effort while depleting the trust, attention and energy it needs for what comes next.

What needs attention before the year ends?

LEADERSHIP TEAMS

Shared direction

Make sense of competing priorities, surface the decisions that keep returning, and agree on what deserves shared attention next.

You leave with: a small set of shared priorities, clarity on decisions that need attention, and agreed next steps with named owners.

TEAMS

Better ways of working

Notice how the team coordinates, shares information, and responds under pressure. Address what gets in the way and agree on practical changes to everyday work.

You leave with: 3–5 working agreements in your own words, and one experiment to run in the first 30 days.

A different environment to see your work with fresh eyes

Teams often know what gets in the way. Seeing it together, without defending familiar positions, is harder.

A creek, city block, or cultural setting offers another way in. Teams observe patterns of coordination, pressure, and change, then use what they notice to explore their own work.

We choose the setting around your team’s questions, challenges, and access needs.

Philadelphia

An experience shaped around the Wissahickon Valley, paired with an indoor working space.

Countryside farmhouse and barn in autumn

Upper Bucks County

A countryside setting with space for indoor work and inquiry in the surrounding landscape.

New York City

An urban or cultural setting chosen around your team and the work in front of it.

Designed for the season: a warm indoor base, with outdoor time adjusted to the weather and the group.

You bring your team. We shape the experience.

Tell us what your team is navigating and what you hope will be different by the start of the next year. We’ll work with you to define the focus, choose the setting, and design a day that fits your people.

What the experience can look like

A typical day for 12–15 people. We tailor the focus, setting and pacing with your sponsor. Smaller or larger groups may be possible depending on the setting and facilitation needs.

What happens after

A follow-up conversation returns to the team’s decisions and working agreements: what changed, what proved difficult, and what needs further attention.
