Questions you may have

Is this a retreat?

The Field can be part of a retreat or offsite. Each engagement combines leadership and team development with work on a real organizational question. Meals, breaks, and informal conversation are part of the day.

How do you choose the setting?

We choose the setting around your organizational context, the work you want to move forward, and your group’s needs. Forests, cities, and cultural spaces offer different conditions for noticing patterns, exploring possibilities, and working together.

How do you measure impact?

We agree with the sponsoring leader on the outcomes that matter, such as clearer decisions, stronger coordination, or changes in leadership practice. Follow-up examines evidence of progress and where further work is needed.

Can we do it indoors?

Yes. Museums, cultural spaces, and indoor working environments can support the inquiry through observation, materials, movement, and spatial arrangements.

Is there a fixed curriculum?

Each engagement follows a clear facilitated structure and draws on the Living Systems Lens. Questions and activities are designed around your context, with room to respond to what emerges.
